Hard Water Home began with the same frustrations you probably have - the dry skin, the scaly kettle, the constant cleaning, and the feeling that there wasn't a single place to get the answers. So we created a place that does. A space where hard water makes sense, and the fixes finally feel simple.

A health-conscious, beach loving, doing-my-best-for-the-planet, mum, and a total research nerd at heart.
When I moved from Scotland (goodbye soft water!) to Poole (one of the UK’s hardest water areas) it felt like tackling limescale had become a full-time job. Floaty bits in your tea? Yep. Frizzy hair and dry skin? Been there. A bathroom that refuses to stay clean for more than five minutes? You get it.
Just like millions of others in the UK, I found myself constantly battling hard water - and when I went looking for simple, practical advice, it didn’t seem to exist anywhere in one clear place.
That’s why I created Hard Water Home - to help you understand hard water and deal with limescale, so you can spend less time scrubbing and more time enjoying your space.
