If your main goal is better-tasting tap water – Yes. 92% rated FlowPure 4–5 stars, with most praise focusing on fresher taste, less chlorine smell and easy installation.
It’s a simple upgrade that works well for most taps. However it’s not perfect and a small minority had bumps in the journey – mainly around fitting issues.

An impressive 92% of customers rated FlowPure 4–5 stars. That’s a strong result. It suggests most customers are genuinely happy with their filter — especially when it comes to taste, ease of fitting and everyday use.
Only 7% of reviews were negative, and most of those focused on practical issues like tap fit, leaks or delivery, rather than the water taste itself.

What people loved
1. Better-tasting, fresher water
This is the biggest theme in the reviews.
Customers repeatedly mentioned:

For many, this alone made FlowPure feel worthwhile — especially if they were previously buying bottled water or using a filter jug.
Several reviewers also said they were drinking more water after fitting it, which is exactly the kind of everyday change you want from a tap filter.
2. Easy fitting for most homes
Installation is another clear positive.
Many reviewers said FlowPure was quick and easy to fit, often taking just a few minutes. Several also liked that adapters were included in the box, making it easier to fit different tap styles.
That said, not every tap setup is identical. Tap compatibility is still the main thing to check before buying, especially if you have an unusual, very modern or non-standard tap.
3. A convenient alternative to jugs or bottled water
A lot of reviewers liked having filtered water straight from the tap.

Is FlowPure worth it?
Based on our findings, yes — FlowPure looks like a very well-liked option for better-tasting tap water.
The biggest positives are taste, chlorine reduction, easy fitting and everyday convenience.
Many reviewers said they now drink more water, use fewer bottles, or prefer their tea and coffee after fitting the filter.
It’s not perfect. A small number of customers had problems with tap fit, leaks, delivery or subscriptions.
But for most people who want fresher-tasting water straight from the tap, the review data is strongly positive. FlowPure does what most buyers want it to do: make everyday tap water taste cleaner, fresher and easier to drink.
FlowPure alternatives
FlowPure is a strong all-round option — and in our review of popular on-tap filters, it came out top for providing the best quality water.
But it’s not the only route.
Brands like BRITA and Waterdrop also offer on-tap filters that focus mainly on improving taste and reducing chlorine.
However, they tend to offer less advanced filtration compared to FlowPure — so while they can improve taste, they may not target as many contaminants.

Under-sink filters
If you prefer something the is more effective at slowing limescale and lower maintenance, under-sink filters are worth considering. They sit hidden away under your sink and filter water before it reaches your tap.
One option here is the Maverick Mav 02. It claims to reduce up to 99% of limescale and while it has a higher upfront cost than FlowPure, the ongoing annual filter costs are lower.
Filters are typically replaced once a year (around £45–£50), compared to FlowPure’s more frequent changes and annual cost of around £68.
It’s a good fit if you want a cleaner look at your sink, less maintenance day to day, and a more “fit and forget” setup.
